More Customer comments:
After seeing Mike Holmes use the products extensively and doing a good deal of research online, I decided that I wanted to use the Kerdi system and Ditra for my new bathroom in my basement. This bathroom was going to be a walk-in shower built right over the concrete floor, so I wanted to ensure that everything stayed looking as nice as it did the day it was completed. I went online to order a Kerdi kit, as the local “big box” store didn’t carry it. I found the product on a number of sites but I found what I thought was the best price at Indiana Floors. While looking at the site, I realized that this company was in Jeffersonville, IN, which is right across the river from my home in Louisville, KY. I called them the next morning to inquire about getting a 6 foot Kerdi shower kit. By 11am that morning, Hugh Scott, owner of Indiana Floors, had personally delivered the shower kit to my home. I was blown away by such great service. While he was here, I asked him to take a look at my new bathroom and give me a bid on installing the kit and performing the tile work. A few weeks later, the room was ready for Hugh and his team to start installing the Kerdi kit and tile. There was a LOT of tile work to do in this 90 square foot bathroom. I chose 2x2 sheet tile for the floor and 3x6 “subway” tile for the walls to 4 feet for a Wainscot look and all the way to the ceiling in the shower. We also decided to “picture frame” the opening to the shower. Take a look at the pictures and I think you’ll agree that it came out looking great. I would definitely use Hugh and his team at Indiana Floors in the future. I highly recommend his company. Additionally, I discovered that Hugh was in business with a custom woodworker. Eddie Mata, from Mata Woodworking, came over to my home on a Tuesday afternoon to give me an estimate on doing some custom shelves for my basement bar. I wanted something that was open and simple but could hold liquor bottles and glasses. Two days later, Eddie came over with my custom built shelves. Here’s a picture of the finished product. The price was right and the quality was great. Thank you to both Hugh and Eddie for doing such great work! J Cave. Louisville,Ky Thank you Jeff for your patience with us,you had a lot of tile in that bathroom. |
It seems the Tile Council of America does not want its banner displayed to improve thier information base to the consumers or professionals.
